I plan to gift the corsages to my mother and mother-in-law on my wedding day. They were very easy to make and sit nicely on the wrist. The lace ribbon gives them a romantic feel and looks just lovely with the dusty pink crochet rose. I was also able to use some of the leftover silk eucalyptus leaves from the boutonnieres for an added touch of greenery.

I used the same pattern for the pink crochet flower as in the boutonnieres tutorial. It can be found here.

Once your crochet rose is made, follow the steps below for assembling the corsage.

Materials

3/4 inch ribbon or lace trim

Tape measure or ruler

Scissors

Lacy's Stiff Stuff (find it at your local craft store in the beading section)

Hot glue gun

Silk leaves

Crochet rose (the pattern I used is linked in description above)

Instructions

1. Cut a piece of ribbon or lace trim approximately 3 ft (36 in) in length.

2. Cut a rectangle of Lacy's Stiff Stuff that measures 1 in. by 1.5 in.

3. Heat up your hot glue gun. Once hot, put some glue on the rectangle of Lacy's Stiff Stuff.

4. Find the middle of your cut piece of ribbon. Adhere the ribbon to the rectangle of Lacy's Stiff Stuff at the middle.

5. Arrange the silk leaves to your liking on top of the now adhered Lacy's Stuff Stuff rectangle and ribbon.

6. Put some hot glue on the back of the silk leaves and glue them down on top of the Lacy's Stiff Stuff rectangle and ribbon.

7. Arrange crochet flower to your liking on top of the now adhered silk leaves/Lacy's Stiff Stuff rectangle/ribbon.

8. Put some hot glue on the bottom of the flower and glue it down on top of the leaves/Lacy's Stiff Stuff rectangle/ribbon.

9. Let corsage dry for at least an hour.

You are now ready to tie your corsage to your wrist and go to a wedding, go to prom, or heck, go to the grocery store!
